"You're Not A Ghost"

A still from the video. Two cartoon figures stand in a void. One says, 'Hey. I'm a ghost' while the other looks nonplussed.
Smells like donuts.

Notes

This is about topology. I thought that a stick figure with the right proportions could morph into a ghost with very small movements! So I made it. Coffee Bud was a later joke, this time referencing the famous quip that a coffee mug is topologically the same as a donut. So if Ghost Bud can morph, maybe their friend could too.

I wasn't sure how to get reflections from Grease Pencil, so I rendered the GP as a png sequence, and brought the sequence into the scene for reflections. At some point I futzed with rendering transparent videos!

I meant to put stars, thin grid lines, or some motes of whatever in the background. As it is, it's a bit plain! I forgot, and didn't want to re-render.
